Electrical Site Manager (LU)
OHUK are looking for Electrical Site managers/Installation Managers to work on the Underground.
Our client is working on the 5g network upgrade on all London Underground Stations and you will be required to be flexible on which stations you will be working at.
The Install Manager will be managing a station fit out. They must also hold SMSTS. They will be managing a site between 10-24 Ops with SPC’s reporting to the site manager when on site. A van will be offered but subject to passing licenses check. Must have experience running similar works on TFL and the Underground, Must have an Electrical Background with also a preferred knowledge of telecoms.
Shifts and hours;
23:45PM – 04:45AM. Sunday – Thursday. Working from Approximately 00:30 to 4:30am. Weekends will be available at increased rates going forward.
Operatives with LU/Rail or Industrial experience will only be considered.
Please note you will be required to work on various London underground stations on the network.
Other tickets preferable are PASMA, Confined space, Quaf, L&E.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of CMS
- Including Trunking,
- Tray and Conduit.
- Installation, Termination and Testing of CAT6A & Fibre Cabling.
- Installation & Termination of Field Antennas and Equipment.
Ideal candidate:
- SMSTS
- ECS JIB Electrician Card or Grading card for Telecoms
- LU/ICI
- Asbestos Awareness
- DBS
- Clean Shaven at all times due to Face Fit mask
