Mechanical Design Manager
OHUK are looking for a Mechanical Design Manager to join one of the UK’s leading M&E Sub-Contractors with a substantial annual turnover of £650+M. They are renowned for their multi-million-pound projects across the UK covering Nuclear, Data Centre, Industrial, commercial and healthcare projects.

Role and Responsibilities;
- Responsible for the conceptual design, design innovation
- Compliance with the employer’s requirements
- Completing detailed designs in accordance with our subcontract agreement with client
- Assisting and training trainee design engineers
- Undertaking accurate designs ensuring they are compliant, cost effective and innovative
Requirements:
- Work experience to at least 3 years in the industry
- Underpinning Mechanical Knowledge
- Mechanical design experience with an MEP contractor on major bids and projects within the Commercial, residential, and healthcare sector
- The ability to manage methods of use of materials and safe systems of work.
- Effective communication skills with with senior operation personnel and designers
- Experience working in the commercial sector
